Huddle GOTW: Northwestern H.S vs. Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. H.S

Huddle Game of the Week featured a battle of fast break pace with half court efficiency between Northwestern and Wise High School. Defense was the name of the game in this match-up with Northwestern dominating the defensive boards which ended many potential second chance points and allowed them to slow the pace for their half court sets. Wise defense allowed them to create fast break points with the intense passing lane presence of their guards. In the end Wise created a flurry of steals that lead to open 3-point shots and easy layups. When the dust cleared the final score…

Huddle GOTW: DeMatha High School vs. Eleanor Roosevelt High School

DeMatha Stags used their size and elite outside shooting  to quickly put away Eleanor Roosevelt. A great measuring stick for Roosevelt and a great display of team talent by DeMatha who seemed posed to sit atop the basketball rankings in our metropolitan area. The Huddle Game of the Week (GOTW) included two top 10 teams on the “Huddle Top 25” rankings, DeMatha (2018-19 Maryland Private School Champion) vs. Eleanor Roosevelt (2018-19 PG County 4-A State Champ).  The first quarter started off with DeMatha in full control, their size being the biggest advantage. That added with Roosevelt's cold shooting allowed DeMatha…
